King Protea

Protea About 450 species are found in South Africa where Protea(83 species),Leucadendron(82 species) and Leucospermum(49species) are the largest genera. Most of the family is concentrated in the South Western Cape Province where proteaceous plants make up an improtant broad-leaved shrubby componet of fynbos vegetations.
